Tuakiri enables students, academics, alumni and researchers to get secure and seamless access to their computing resources and collaboration environment using one set of credentials granted by their home organization. The home organization provides the user with identity credentials and an authorization process administered by the resource owner or administrator grants user permission to the resource.
The New Zealand Access Federation - Tuakiri will establish and manage the legal, governance, policy and technical frameworks required to form an identity access federation service between New Zealand Universities and Crown Research Institutes.
